WSIL(Carterville, Ill)-- This morning, all of us are in the clear for severe weather thanks to the passage of the cold front. Also, we are tracking showers that are moving out of the region towards the east.Â
Today, you can expect to see lots of sunshine behind the coldfront. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 70s. Winds will be slightly breezy this afternoon with peak wind gusts that could be as high as 25 miles per hour out of the northwest.Â
Mostly clear skies will last overnight tonight which will help us cool into the mid 50s tomorrow morning. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 60s and low 70s. Skies will partly cloudy tomorrow, with the chance of a few isolated laight showers.Â
We will me dry and mostly sunny for the weekend. Â
