MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- A car crash sent one woman to the hospital on Saturday.Â
Deputies from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of the wreck around 12:24 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. Authorities arrived at the Hovekamp Road and Yarbo Lane intersection to confirm the crash resulted in injuries.Â
Investigators learned that Margaret Reese, 83, of Paducah, drove a 2017 Jeep Compass heading south on Yarbo Lane. The other car, a 2009 Chevy Silverado, was driven eastward on Hovekamp Road by William Guminski, 66, of Kevil.Â
Deputies on scene believe the cars crashed as Reese began to turn onto Hovekamp in the same direction as Guminski, who was driving straight on the road. Reports say Reese's Jeep was pushed off Hovekamp and into a ditch.Â
Mercy Regional EMS brought Reese to a local hospital of his non-life-threatening injuries.Â
