Several people evacuated after flash flooding in Fredericktown

Fredericktown flooding

(WSIL) -- Over 20 people have been evacuated after strong storms and flash flooding in Fredericktown, Missouri.

The Fredericktown Fire Department says they have handled a high number of calls since 3 am Thursday. 

According to their facebook post, extensive flash flooding has effected the Holmes Subdivision as well as home and businesses along Saline Creek and a creek along South Mine La Motte. 

The department say no injuries have been reported so far.Â
