CARTERVILLE (WSIL)---SIH needs help from artists in the area.
On Tuesday, SIH will be hold a virtual meeting to discuss how you can be commissioned to set up art around the Cancer Institute.
The meeting is from 5 to 7 pm and will go over all the details on how you can submit your work.
If chosen, your art would hang on the walls throughout their new addition.
"We're looking for 52 pieces of art. And that's a good deal of money, and support, and resources going back to local artists and giving them an opportunity to say what they love about southern Illinois and what that brings to them. And then inspire that hope and that journey along for our cancer patients," said Jennifer Badiu, the Cancer Institute's system director.
And if you can't make it to tomorrow's zoom, the recording will still be up for you to view at any time.
