Soggy start - warm welcome to December

WSIL (Carterville) -- If feel like you slept a little better last night, it was definitely thanks to the rainfall. We had light to moderate rain fall for almost everyone throughout the entire night. We're just now beginning to see radar clear as showers move eastward.

Temperatures are already unseasonably warm to kick off the day as we're in the mid 40s. Despite rainfall leaving, clouds will hold on for a few more hours.

If clouds can clear sooner than later, our southern most counties will climb into the low 60s. Everyone else hitting the upper 50s.

As we head into the weekend, temperatures continue to stay mild. There is a slight chance of drizzle into Sunday, but it isn't anything worth cancelling plans over.

The first week of December is continuing to trend unseasonably warm with the exception of Wednesday.
