NAYLOR, Mo. -- A school in southeast Missouri has dismissed students from school for the rest of the week due to illnesses.
Instead, they will be counted as Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) days.
Naylor R-2 School (Ripley County) said they decided to dismiss classes from Tuesday, December 12, through the end of the week. They will be back in class on Monday, December 18.
The school district stated on Monday they had "quite a bit of illness in our schools."
They also stated "the number of healthy students and staff members is low."
