WSIL(Carterville, Ill.)-- This morning, we are tracking a little bit of patchy fog across much of the region. There is not a dense fog advisory, but certainly be aware of some areas of dense fog through the early morning hours.Â
Once the sun comes up and surface temperatures start to warm, the fog should burn off. By mid morning, we will see temperatures in the mid to upper 70s, and by lunchtime, we will see temperatures in the low 80s.Â
Highs today will likely be in the low to mid 80s across southern Illinois; we may see the mid to upper 80s across southeastern Missouri.
Skies today will be mostly sunny. No cloud cover is expected overnight, which will helps us cool into the upper 50s and low 60s for morning lows tomorrow.Â
Sunshine is expected for tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 80s once again.Â
We are tracking a few rain and storm chances for the weekend, but nothing that should be severe.Â
