CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) Beautiful weather is on tap for the next several days. However, we are looking ahead to another storm system later in the week.
Monday: We will have clear skies for most of the area to start with today. We will start out with some chilly temps, down into the lower 40s with calm winds. This will be short lived as clouds will start coming back into the area by late morning and temps with rise into the mid 60s by the afternoon. Winds will also pick back up, only to about 10 mph.
Monday evening: We will see more clouds move in, making it overcast into the evening hours. Winds will calm and temps will dip into the 50s.
Tuesday: More of the same is expected. However, clouds will clear out by midday before they roll back in by night. Again, 60s as the highs.
Looking ahead: The next chance for thunderstorms and rain looks to be on Friday.
