BENTON, Ill. (WSIL) -- A man is behind bars in Franklin County after he was arrested for arson Wednesday.
Benton Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of East Center Street at approximately 7:55 a.m. in reference to a residential house fire.
Through investigation, police arrested Shaun W. Beasley (36) of Benton for arson.
Beasley was charged and transported to the Franklin County Jail for further processing.
