CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Carbondale Police have asked residents for help locating a suspect in a series of crimes that began April 10.Â
As recently as Wednesday, police have investigated 10 calls of damage to property and vehicle tires. Police believe the crimes have all occurred overnight.Â
Officials say the crimes have occurred in the 500 blocks of South Rawlings and West Mill Streets, the 600 and 800 blocks of West Walnut Street, the 600 and 800 blocks of West Walnut Street, the 800 block of West Cherry Street, the 300 and 600 blocks of South James Street, the 100 block of South Forest and two occurrences in the 400 block of West Mill Street.Â
Carbondale Police ask anyone who may have footage of the incidents from Ring doorbell cameras or home security systems to contact the station at 618-457-3200.Â
Officers plan to institute an increased presence in the area until a suspect is arrested.Â
