Carbondale Police search for missing girl in possible danger

CARBDONALDE, Ill. -- An investigation into a missing girl has pushed Carbondale Police to ask the community for help. 

According to a press release from the Carbondale Police Department, Mandy E. Pope, 20, went missing on Tuesday, Aug. 13 around 5:00 p.m. Police believe Pope was on her way to Marion. It should be noted that police say Pope could be in danger due to a condition she faces. 

The information from the department describes Pope as a 4' 11'' white female who weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. She was reportedly last seen in a black dress.
