Family Dollar issues recall for various products after FDA inspection reveals rodent infestation at Arkansas facility

CARTERVILLE, Ill. -- The Dollar Tree/Family Dollar combo store has provided a new update on its reopening timeline. 

The city of Carterville posted Thursday afternoon with information from the Dollar Tree/Family Dollar Corporate. This comes after an initial reopening date was given for July 15. 

According to the post, the Carterville store has been facing HVAC issues and roof leaks. As previously reported, a technician did investigate the HVAC system. The corporate team says a part has been ordered to fix the HVAC and should arrive by Tuesday, July 30. 

The technician also reportedly found four roof leaks during the inspection. Corporate says these are expected to be fixed this week. 

The Carterville location plans to reopen on Wednesday, July 31. Stay tuned to the for the latest updates.
