...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Peak daily heat index values up to around 105 degrees.

* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.

* IMPACTS...Prolonged hot temperatures and high humidity may cause
heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Franklin County Officials look for new suspects

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. -- The Franklin County government released a new list of its most wanted suspects on Wednesday morning. 

Officials remind residents to avoid the suspects if spotted and instead call officials at 618-438-4841 or 911. 

The first suspect listed this week is William D. Basenberg Jr., 30, of Herrin. Officials hope to find Basenberg Jr. on an aggravated domestic battery charge. 

Next, officials search for Shane M. Daugherty, 42, of Coello. He is wanted for suspected domestic battery. 

Finally, the government hopes to locate Thomas S. Rector, 34, of Creal Springs. Officials believe Rector committed retail theft. 

Each of the suspects remain innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
