GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. -- A man is in the hospital after a two-car crash on Friday afternoon.Â
Officers responded to the collision around 3:00 p.m. in the 3000 block of US 45 South.
Zachary Fagan, 20, of Wingo, drove a Ford Excursion SUV in the southbound direction prior to the crash. Officials believe Fagan failed to see slowing traffic ahead of him due to the sun and ran into Melvin Watson, 55, of Mayfield.Â
Officials transported Watson to a nearby hospital with "non-life-threatening" injuries. Fagan left the crash unscratched.Â
US 45 saw traffic delays for a short time after the crash. This traffic resulted in a second crash with no injuries north of the first.Â
