Man wanted out of Graves County for suspected burglary

GRAVES COUNTY, KY. -- Officials with the Graves County Sheriff's Office have asked for help finding a burglary suspect. 

Deputies have stated a Chevrolet pickup truck and credit cards went missing. However, on Monday, deputies came across the truck driving in Murray around 7:34 a.m. Officials stopped the truck on behalf of the Graves County Sheriff's Office.

Officials identified the driver as Juan Antonio Hernandez, 28, of Mexico. Hernandez also reportedly had Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on him. Officials arrested him on the scene, however Hernandez managed to gain release via a ROR bond in Calloway County.

At 11:30 a.m., Hernandez was caught on a store's security camera paying with the stolen credit cards. Officials have now issued a search warrant for Hernandez's arrest on the following charges:

  • Burglary, 2nd Degree
  • Burglary, 3rd Degree
  • Theft of Auto, value over $10,000
  • Fraudulent use of credit card
