MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Officials arrested a man on an outstanding warrant at a traffic stop.聽
Deputy Hartman with the McCracken County Sheriff's Office noticed a car commit moving violations on Tuesday. Upon approaching the car, Hartman identified the driver as Joe Nathan Carter, of Paducah.
Carter had an outstanding warrant for his arrest due to him missing his court date for a 2023 drug charge. Hartman knew this and arrested Carter on the scene.聽
The office said cocaine was found on Carter's person during the arrest process.聽
Carter now sits in the McCracken County Regional Jail for the warrant and on the following charges:
- Traffic Offenses
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
