CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- UPDATE: 3:28 p.m. -- The Cape Girardeau Police Department said the boy has been found safe and is now home.
ORIGINAL: 3:13 p.m. -- Police are searching for a 9-year-old boy who is considered missing from Cape Girardeau.
The Cape Girardeau Police Department says Jaden Welch, 9 of Cape Girardeau, was last seen at his home in the 2800-block of Whitener Street at 12:45 p.m. on August 16.
Both Welch and his bicycle are reported missing.
Welch is a black male, 4�9� tall, weighing 80 lbs. wearing blue shorts with a black and white bicycle.
