Murphysboro, Ill. -- Fire officials in Murphysboro got messy to fight a dumpster fire on Thursday morning.Â
The town's fire department took to after the fire was put out to tell the story. According to the post, the fire occurred in a "roll-off dumpster" next to a business.
Officials believe the fire started due to embers floating in the air from a different fire. Crews extinguished the dumpster fire before the business faced damage.
"If you're wondering how many Firefighters can safely fit in a dumpster, the answer is five," the department jokingly wrote.Â
Officials seem happy to have cleared the fire and prepared for the next one.Â
