CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Quatro's Deep Pan Pizza Owner Blake Morrison has passed away.

This according to a Facebook post by Quatro's Deep Pan Pizza.

Carbondale Chamber of Commerce Director William Lo confirms to News 3 that Blake Morrison was the one who passed away on a cruise ship to the Bahamas.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) tells News 3 earlier on Wednesday that police on the Island of New Providence are investigating the death of a 29-year-old man from Carbondale who died on a cruise ship.

RBPF said preliminary reports show the Carbondale man was found unresponsive near the pool deck on the cruise ship that sailed in.

He was examined and later pronounced dead by the ship’s doctor.

Lo told News 3 he saw Morrison the day before he left to go on the trip.

"It's really sad," Lo said.

Quatro's Deep Pan Pizza said the restaurant is still open and they appreciate the support.

On Friday, Quatro's posted a photo of an interactive memorial mural for people to come by and interact with to remember Blake Morrison.
