Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels on the Big Muddy River will continue to drop, falling below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday, and at Murphysboro Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

SIUE defeats SEMO for OVC Tournament title

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WSIL) -- A showdown in Evansville between #1 SEMO Redhawks and #2 SIUE Cougars took place on Saturday to crown the champion for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.

SIU Edwardsville takes home the title winning 69-48.

SIUE is the first team entering the NCAA Championship Tournament with an automatic bid.

SEMO entered the title game after winning over Little Rock on Friday by 19 points.

The Cougars entered the championship game with a two-point win over Tennessee State.
