ELDORADO, Ill. -- Officials brought an Eldorado High School student to the hospital after a head-on school bus crash.Â
According to the school's Facebook page, the bus was en route to the Special Olympics in Mt. Vernon. The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Friday near Dale in Hamilton County.Â
Other than the one student receiving treatment, all students and staff onboard the bus did not suffer injuries. The school says the student was given medical attention as a precaution.Â
The school thanks the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Fire Department and EMS for their help in the situation.Â
