MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Deputies arrested a man from Tennessee for drug-related crimes on Thursday.
Steven Hearst, 42, of Hendersonville, TN, was arrested by officials at a hotel for the suspected selling of Methamphetamine. The hotel sits at 3835 Technology Drive in Paducah. Deputies descended upon the scene after a tip accusing Hearst of this crime.Â

Deputies released a K-9 officer to smell Hearst's car upon the stop. Police said a .38 caliber gun was found, but no drugs.Â
Officials continued their investigation with a search warrant. Upon entering Hearst's hotel room, police described their findings as follows:
- 148 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine
- Digital Scales
- µþ²¹²µ²µ¾±±ð²õÌý
- Vape Pens
- Another handgun
- Fake Driver's Licenses
- $4,590 in cash that police assume to be the proceeds of illegal drug sales
Hearst was brought to the McCracken County Regional Jail as a result of these findings. He faces the following charges:
- Five counts of criminal possession of 2nd degree forged instrument
- Firearm-enhanced trafficking in Methamphetamine
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Lack of registration plates
- No registration receipt
