Three Face Charges For Suspected Cape Girardeau Home Burglary

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Three suspects face charges on Thursday in connection to an armed burglary investigation. 

Cape Girardeau Police responded to a call from the 1100 block of Ranney Ave. around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon. Victims told the police two men reportedly broke into the home with guns and stole multiple items from the house.

Police say the suspects' car left the state and entered Illinois. Officials reviewed FLOCK camera footage and informed the Alexander County Sheriff's Department. Around 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Alexander County deputies spotted the vehicle around Cairo, Illinois. Officials stopped the car, retrieved the stolen items and guns, and arrested three suspects. 

On Thursday afternoon, Cape Girardeau police announced the three suspects face multiple felony charges.

Andre Rogers, 38 of Pulaski County, Illinois, faces a Class A felony of robbery in the first degree, two counts of felony armed criminal action and a Class B felony of burglary in the first degree.

Antoine Moore, 37 of Forest Park, Georgia, faces charges of a Class A felony of robbery in the first degree, two counts of felony armed criminal action and a Class B felony of burglary in the first degree.

Demetrius Hadley, 44 of Mound City, Illinois, faces charges of a Class A felony robbery in the first degree, two counts of felony armed criminal action and a Class B felony of burglary in the first degree.

All three are being held on no-bond warrants, Cape Girardeau police said.
