Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Three suspects sought by Franklin County officials

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has announced three suspects currently most sought after. 

The office warns residents to avoid the suspects if spotted for the situation could be unsafe. Instead, the office tells locals with information on the suspects to call the office at 618-438-4841. 

Mathew R. Carter, 45, of the Christopher area, is the first suspect described. He is wanted for Methamphetamine possession. 

The next suspect is Amy J. Martin, 42, of West Frankfort. Martin faces charges of theft upon arrest. 

Finally, officials hope to find Bart C. Eberhardt, 28, of DuQuoin. Officials say Eberhardt is wanted for retail theft. 

All suspects remain innocent until a court finds them guilty in a trial.
