MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- Two people were brought to a regional hospital on Thursday after a car crash on Old US Hwy 45.Â
Officials from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office arrived on the scene around 2:07 p.m. Deputies found two cars involved, including one that overturned.Â
Authorities on the scene said Joshua Ringstaff, 47, of West Paducah, drove a White 2014 Ford Cargo Van down Hwy 45. Lisa Hennesy, 51, of Benton, drove a Purple 2018 Jeep Wrangler inward.Â

Investigators learned Ringstaff's Ford turned from KY 348 onto 45 and was again slowing to turn on Englert Road. Hennesy's Jeep reportedly could not stop and tried to avoid a crash. Hennesy, however, hit the front of the Ford, causing her car to flip over in the road.Â
McCracken County deputies called medical officials from the Mercy Regional EMS to the scene. Hennesy and a passenger in the Jeep, Sandra Woodbridge, 76, of Benton, KY, experienced injuries in the crash. Officials brought the pair to a local hospital. Ringstaff did not sustain injuries.Â
The crash forced US 45 to close around an hour.Â
The Lone Oak Fire Department, Mercy Regional EMS and Harper's Towing aided the McCracken County Sheriff's Office.Â
