WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- Officials brought a man to jail after discovering him allegedly stealing from a house.Â
Deputies from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office responded to alerts of trespassing along the 600 block of West Vermont Street in Cambria on February 25 just before 8:00 p.m. Upon arrival, officials reported finding an ATV that matched the description given by the alerts.Â
Officials entered the home and said an individual, Lucas L. Holland, was curled underneath a table in the "fetal position." Deputies recognized Holland from a prior case, for which he was on parole, focusing on drug trafficking. Officials arrested Holland without any issues.Â
Deputies on the scene brought Holland to the Williamson County Jail. Holland told officials he was "scrapping" from the residence, which he believed to be deserted. Officials also reported locating a bag they said Holland hid in the back of the patrol car which included a substance that turned out to be fentanyl.Â

Holland faces the following charges:
- Possession of a controlled substance (Class 4 felony)
- Criminal Trespass to Residence (Class A Misdemeanor)
According to officials, the aforementioned ATV was a 1998 Honda Fourtrax 300 ATV and aligned with one a nearby resident reported missing. The department is still investigating to confirm the vehicle's origins.Â
