Woman arrested in joint McCracken County drug investigation

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- The McCracken County Sheriff's Office and the Paducah Police Department joined forces in an investigation into the sale of methamphetamine. 

The departments reported it was recently determined a home at 1143 Oaks Road was a point of sale for illegal drugs. Officials arrived at the home on Tuesday, July 2 to carry out a search warrant at the home. 

Authorities arrived at the address to find Jessica Rogers, 31. Information from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office says the search yielded Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Synthetic Marijuana, pipes for smoking, scales and drug paraphernalia. Cash totally $1,165 in cash was also found, which officials stated they believe came from sales of the drugs.

Officials arrested Rogers and brought her to the McCracken County Regional Jail. Rodgers previously faced conviction for trafficking in meth. The sheriff's office says for this crime, Rogers received the following charges:

  • Trafficking in Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Marijuana 
  • Possession of a Synthetic Drug
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office expects more arrests tied to this drug investigation to happen soon.
