Additionally, wind chills are feeling well below zero this morning. There is a Wind Chill Advisory this morning until 10 AM, and this is for wind chill values that could feels as much as 10 to 15 degrees below zero.Â
This morning, we are tracking partly cloudy skies and temperatures that will be in the single digits through mid morning. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10-12 miles per hour.Â
By lunchtime, clouds will have cleared significantly, and we should see temperatures reach 12 degrees. Highs this afternoon will be in the mid teens, but the steady wind of 10 to 15 miles per hour may only make it feel like the single digits. Skies will be mostly sunny.
This evening, we are tracking clear skies, and temperatures that will return to the single digits by 9:00. Skies will be clear overnight and this will help us cool to about 5 to 7 degrees for lows tomorrow morning.Â
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs warming to near the freezing mark. Highs should surpass the freezing mark for Thursday before another system beings very cold weather for Friday and the weekend. Â
