KENNETT, Mo. (WSIL) -- Two people were injured after a single-vehicle crash in southeast Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 9 p.m. on February 6, on County Road 551, roughly one-half mile south of Kennett.
State police said a 19-year-old male was driving a 2009 GMC Pickup with a 17-year-old in the passenger seat. MSHP reported they were going north when the vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.
The 19-year-old was reported with serious injuries while the 17-year-old had minor injuries. Both were sent to the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
