Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

Vigil planned Friday night for SIU students killed in Union County crash

SIU Students killed in crash

CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- The ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois University Carbondale campus and community will come together at 7:30 p.m. Friday for a candlelight vigil.Ìý

The vigil will honor the lives of Vamshi Krishna Pechetty and Pavan Swarna who were killed in a crash on Route 3 in Union County Thursday morning.Ìý

The ceremony will take place near the Becker Pavilion on Campus Lake.Ìý
