Weekend of Sorrow Turns Bright and Beautiful Next Week

Rain Chances

Carterville IL. (WSIL) -- After this wet weekend is finally put behind us, some welcomed changes will be entering the forecast. Monday will start a streak of days where we will finally be completely dry. We are also going to see the sunshine return. Monday and Tuesday will feature highs in the upper 70s to around 80. Humidity will still be a factor but I am sure we will all be able to handle it after this cold wet weekend. We will start the week partly cloudy and slowly clear them out by mid week.

Muggy Meter

Tuesday night a dry cold front heads into our region to clear away the humidity and clouds from the forecast. For Wednesday and Thursday dew points crash into the 30s and 40s which will make things feel very fall like for those days respectively. Humidity will bounce back towards the end of the week with sunshine continuing.
