Williamson County officials catch one suspect, other still on the run

UPDATE -- 11:35 a.m. -- June. 12, 2024 -- Officials captured one of its most wanted suspects on Wednesday morning. 

Timothy J. Buckingham was taken into custody shortly after the sheriff's office announced the search for him. 

Charles G. Hodge remains on the run.

ORIGINAL STORY -- WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- The Williamson County Sheriff's Office released the identities of its most sought-after suspects on Wednesday. 

Officials remind the public that these suspects could cause danger; do not approach them. Instead, call the officials at 618-997-6541.

First, Timothy J. Buckingham, 43, of Marion is wanted for Residential Burglary. Officials describe Buckingham as a 6', 203-pound man with brown hair and hazelnut eyes. He is a white man.

Officials have set a no bond precedent for Buckingham's arrest. 

Additionally, officials are searching for Charles G. Hodge, 63, of Marion. Hodge stands at 6' 04'' and weighs 245 pounds. According to officials, he is a white man with brown hair and blue eyes.
