Woman faces felony charge in connection to battery investigation at school bus stop

HURST, ill. (WSIL) � The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating a report of a fight in Hurst on April 18.

Deputies responded to the reported fight at 7:08 a.m. in the 300-block of East School Street.

After deputies arrived, the sheriff’s office said they learned of a physical altercation involving two adults at a school bus stop.

The sheriff’s office stated Tiffany Hartman got out of her vehicle and choked and hit another adult multiple times with a closed fist.

Deputies also said they talked with a neighbor who heard the incident and supplied a video from their Ring camera.

“The video shows Hartman committing the battery and several children present waiting for the school bus,� The sheriff’s office said in an online statement.

Hartman was arrested and cited for a Class 3 Felony Aggravated Battery charge.

Hartman was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
