Women for Change hold inaugural fundraiser Oct. 26th

Organizers say the weekend event will be an evening of entertainment and refinement.

CARBONDALE, Ill., (WSIL) -- The non-profit, Women for Change, want to invite everyone to their inaugural fundraiser: Stepping into the Essence of Elegance. Organizers say this weekend's event will be an evening of entertainment and refinement. The event theme is an "All White Ball" which includes a white carpet walk and photo opportunity upon arrival. Organizers also encourage attendees to wear white formal attire.

Stepping into the Essence of Elegance will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The evening begins at 5 p.m., when doors open to the Eurma Hayes Center. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with entertainment to follow. Group president, Ginger Rye-Sanders, tells us people can expect good music, good food and a good time.

The non-profit organization Women for Change is planning their inaugural fundraiser to help support community activities.

According to Rye-Sanders, all of the evening's proceeds will go back into the organization and its numerous community projects.

Tickets are $50 for singles, $75 for couples or $226 for a table of 6. You can reach out to Women for Change by emailing: [email protected] or by visiting their social media.
