Zeigler Fire Department celebrates 100 years of service at homecoming

These pictures were on display at the Zeigler homecoming on Saturday. The pictures cover the century the department has been in service. 

ZEIGLER, Ill. -- The Zeigler Fire Department celebrated a big milestone during the weekend - their 100th birthday.

The celebration was included in this year's homecoming festivities. The Fire Department posted pictures of the celebration to their social media, commemorating the day.

Organizers say the turnout this year was amazing. Festivities included a parade, vendors and table featuring pictures of the fire departments long history serving the public.
