BENTON, Ill. -- One of the best high school basketball players in our area and the state of Illinois is getting a look from SIU. Benton big man, Docker Tedeschi, might be a future Saluki.

SIU recently added Benton grad Issac Billington to its roster. Could Tedeschi be next?

Docker the blocker had an unofficial visit with ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois over the weekend. SIUE and Colorado State have already shown interest in the Rangers' rising senior.

Tedeschi helped the Running Rangers play in the program's first-ever state championship last season. The all-state player was the leading scorer for Benton last year; he averaged 15 and half points and 7 rebounds per game.

Docker watch is officially on. We expect him to continue to generate interest throughout the off-season
