MARION (WSIL) -- The Marion Girls Golf Team finished third at the Marion Class 2A Regional at Kokopelli Golf Club and are on the outside looking in when it comes to advancing to Sectionals.
O'Fallon won the event with a score of 316 and Edwardsville took second and the final team bid with a 344. Marion Finished three strokes back with a 347.
Marion, however will be represented at Sectionals. Sarah Capel is your medalist with a score of 74 and also punching her ticket to Sectionals is teammate Baylee Kelly who finished with a 74.
