...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels on the Big Muddy River will continue to drop, falling below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday, and at Murphysboro Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

- At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 25.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 19.1 feet Monday,
April 21.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

WEST FRANKFORT (WSIL) � West Frankfort has started the search for a new boys head basketball coach, after the school board accepted Evan Wyllie’s resignation at Monday night’s meeting.

Wyllie has accepted a graduate assistant position at the University of West Florida in Pensacola.

Wyllie led the Redbirds to a 21-11 record last year and school’s first regional title in 12 years.  He was 32-48 in the three years prior at NCOE.
