CARTERVILLE, IL (WSIL) -  In less than two weeks, it will be college basketball time.

The defending National Junior college champs open the year on the road.

John A. Logan faces Mineral Area College at the Three Rivers College Classic on November third.

The reigning national champions have been picked to finish fourth this season.

Logan comes in right in front of Salt Lake Community College but behind several other powerhouse programs.

The volunteers earned 308 points in the preseason poll, the leader Northwest Florida State. The Vols beat the Raiders by just three points in the national title game back in March.
