Local fan captures milestone of Marion resident Lance Lynn's 2000th Strikeout
Cardinals Pitcher and Marion native Lance Lynn earned his 2000th career strikeout in a 2-1 win over the Pirates on Tuesday.
Local Missy Johnson Bittle, along with friends and members of the Lynn family, were on hand to see the 37 year-old make history.
Lynn is the 6th active player in MLB history with 2000 or more strikeouts and 89th player in league history to reach that feat.
