Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and will continue.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

- At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.1 feet Thursday,
April 24.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

ST. LOUIS (WSIL) -- The Missouri Valley Football Conference announce on Twitter that Illinois State is opting on out of the football season. No specific reason was provided other than it was a combination of injuries and COVID-19.

¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois was slated to play Illinois State on April third, it will go down as a no contest and the Salukis will not gain a forfeit win.
