CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- Big day for some college hoops. SIU men's basketball looking for their 11th straight win at home and trying to bounce back after Valpo snapped their 7 game win streak on the road Wednesday.

The Salukis struggled in the first half shooting under 29% from the field and trailing by 18 at the half.

In the second half Salukis scored 42 points shooting 50% from the field, but it wasn't enough. Braves take the game 69-67.

"Proud of how our guys responded in the second half you know the first half wasn't us, we didn't play the right way and credit to Bradley for coming out and starting the right way," said Head Coach Bryan Mullins. " I challenged the guys at half time and they really responded and gave ourselves a chance to win the game and we have to do a better job executing at the end of the game you know but we got to learn from this and continue to get better as a team."

"We haven't lost any momentum we are staying positive just taking it one day at a time," said freshman Lance Jones. "I feel like were going to come in with the right mindset for practice and just look forward to getting better."

The Salukis are back inside the Banterra Center Thursday. They face Evansville that is a 7pm tip.
