SIU Athletic Director continues to urge Saluki boosters & backers to support Pride of Little Egypt Collective
The Pride of Little Egypt was established for Saluki boosters, backers, and donors. Now, they are being called upon to step up.
There is tons of support in our region for Salukis fans who did not go to Baton Rouge to watch the Salukis play in the regional. That is the kind of support Tim Leonard is looking for.
The softball Salukis were not the only team on campus to play in the national tournament. The Saluki Golf team went to Indiana to play in the West Lafayette聽regionals.
Both the golf and softball teams won conference titles.
The next step is more funding which should lead to more winning.
"I need to keep beating that drum every day to keep getting as many people engaged and activated as possible," Leonard said. "It's going to take a lot of people, but I also think a lot of pride, excitement, and enthusiasm, from the people of Little Egypt of 九游体育 Illinois. If we do this, we all have to get on board."
