CARBONDALE, IL (WSIL) - The Saluki Women's basketball team wants its fans at their welcome back party on Sunday night.
SIU women's hoops is holding its third annual welcome back event a local restaurant.
The event is to help gather support and fundraise for the team.
The celebration starts with a meet and greet followed by dinner.

The event will be at Route 51 Brewing Company in Elkville. It starts at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person, which includes dinner. A cash bar is also available. The event is open to the public and all Saluki fans.
There will also be live music, games and prizes.
Southern Illinois wants your support and they hope you can make it.
Again, the event is on Sunday night at 6 p.m.Â
Southern open the season at SEC foe Auburn on November 4th.
"Just meeting all Southern Illinois now we want to celebrate them with us. They will be able to find out what our kids majors are, who has dogs, why your hair is like that and we got good food, a great cover band, 51 brewery does a tremendous job of hosting that for us so we're really excited for it, we'll have face painters, bounce houses, pop-a-shot, we will be out there having fun," Kelly Bond-White said.
