SAN DIEGO (WSIL) -- Benton's Damon Wilson is now 2-0 as a professional Mixed Martial Artist with the Technical Knockout over John Buttner at Cage Warriors 126.
Wilson was able to finish the fight in the second round with a devastating right hand.
"Finishing a fight like that immediately has a relief off your shoulders, you can breathe for a second," Wilson said. "When I got my hand raised it was surreal and moving on to 2-0 so hopefully I can keep the streak going and it was fun to do it in that kind of fashion."
"I think people were surprised, I think people were definitely surprised that it was a knockout and that I pretty much used my striking the whole fight, I didn't have any take downs or anything so I think people were pretty surprised. The only people that weren't surprised were my friends and family that came and the people that knew me back home and also my teammates and coaches. I think all those people were expecting a good entertaining fight."
