Saluki Guard Kennard Davis Jr. enters transfer portal
We know there will be a new head coach, and, now, for the second time in less than a week, another Saluki has entered the transfer portal. Freshman Kennard Davis Jr. is on the way out of SIU.
The rising sophomore averaged 4.2 points per game and three rebounds per game for Southern this season.
The St. Louis native played in 32 games for Southern and shot 30% from downtown.
Davis Jr. joins Troy D'Amico as the two known Salukis to leave following the firing of head coach Bryan Mullins.
