December 20th Evening Weather with Meteorologist Jacie Brianne

CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- It was bitter cold end to the traditional work week. The cold temperatures will stick around overnight. Lows will plummet into the low 20s by Saturday morning.

SATURDAY

Saturday will be another cold day. High temperatures will remain below average, only topping out in the 30s. However, there will be more sunshine and winds will be much calmer, making it slightly more comfortable than Friday.

Sunday will be cold to start. Low temperatures will be back in low 20s. The good news is that a warming trend will begin by the afternoon. High temperatures will rise into the low 40s, accompanied by more sunshine.

The warm-up will continue into the next week, but it will also become more active. Scattered showers will return by Christmas Eve and continue into Christmas day.
