Carterville IL. (WSIL) -- Today was another really great day overall for the forecast area. Lots of sun to start out the day but certainly seeing more in the way of some upper level clouds moving in towards the ladder half of the day. Temperatures held in the upper 60s across our northern viewing areas while our southern areas crept into the low 70s. Overall, a dry and pleasant start to the weekend for many of us.Â

Tonight we will start to see some more cloud cover move in and temperatures should get colder again but not as cold as last night. Lows tomorrow morning only approach the upper 40s so a good 10 degrees warmer than this morning. Expect high clouds to develop over the region tomorrow morning and then an overcast sky as we progress through the day. Hope you enjoyed the sun today because it'll be on a break for the next few.Â
