Warming back up through the weekend

CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- It was another cold afternoon, and the cold temperatures will stick around overnight. Low temperatures will drop into the low 30s by Saturday morning. While you may have to bundle up the start the weekend, there is some relief in sight.

A warming trend will begin Saturday afternoon and continue into Sunday. High temperatures Saturday will rise back into the low to mid 50s, followed by the low 60s Sunday. Partly cloudy and dry conditions will stick around both days. It should be a fairly mild weekend to be out and about.

Our next cold front will move through Monday. That will bring our next chance for light rain and another big cool down. Another system is expected mid-week, around the holiday. This could impact travel plans.
