WSIL -- Who is ready for summer? Well, ready or not, here it comes!
A mild and somewhat muggy morning with temperatures in the upper 60s. A few clouds early will give way to a lot of sunshine by the afternoon.

Winds will remain breezy from the southeast, but the combination of southerly winds and sunshine will push temperatures into the low to mid 80s Thursday afternoon.

A big dome of high pressure will build in from the east, shifting the make storm track west into the Plains and building a lot of warm weather across the eastern U.S.

Temperatures gradually warm into the weekend and finally peak in the upper 80s Sunday afternoon.
The pattern holds until the middle of next week when a series of upper-level disturbances squash the ridge south and enter storm chances back into our forecast.
